Job Title Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Location Columbia, SC | Acute Care Hospital Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Includes Weekends and Holidays as Needed | No On-Call Required Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting Perform assessments, triage, and interventions appropriate to emergency patient populations Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR Float between campuses (Downtown and Northeast) as needed based on census and staffing requirements Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November) Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale Proficiency with Epic EMR Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rate; local candidates within 60 miles will be considered Preferred Experience / Skills Experience working in a high-volume acute care emergency department Familiarity with floating between multiple campuses or units Strong adaptability and ability to work effectively during high-census periods Why Join Us Free parking available at facility campuses No on-call requirements, offering greater schedule predictability for travel nurses Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 774872.
