Application Engineer

Deer Park, NY | Onsite

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer who wants to combine technical problem-solving with customer interaction while building a career in Applications or Sales Engineering.

• Develop technical solutions based on customer requirements
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and application recommendations
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Provide technical support to customers and sales teams
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales throughout project execution
• Participate in customer meetings and occasional site visits (up to 15% travel)

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused mindset with an interest in technical sales and applications engineering
• Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts

• SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar CAD software
• Blueprint and drawing interpretation
• Manufacturing, automation, robotics, fabrication, or electromechanical systems
• Internship, project, or hands-on technical experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Deer Park, NY.

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
