Summary:

• Lead team of Data Center Associates, whose primary focus is assembly related duties
• Provide direction to team members, assist with training, and set the example for what the job entails
• Be the hands on, go-to person on your team
• Work with Supervisors and Operations Management to make sure everyone is on task and understands daily objectives and expectations. 
• Support data center operations through assembling server racks, installing server/electronic components, running cables, other installation tasks, following diagrams, material handling, and inventory management
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on safety and quality.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse and technical tasks.
• Maintain Safety standards and follow safety guidelines for compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead team of Data Center Associates and make sure that the proper example is being set for all employees
• Ensure that all Data Center Associates have proper direction, training and expectations for daily job duties and objectives
• Work with Supervisor and Operations Managers to help relay important job related details, deadlines, and objectives to all employees on your team
• Be the hands on, go-to person on your team
• Assemble server racks, install components, and run cabling per diagrams.
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
• Load/unload freight and perform quality checks on inbound and outbound shipments.
• Manage inventory, cycle counts, and replenishment of critical parts.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, rack movers, and straddle stackers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following 5S standards.
• Process returns and shipments using warehouse management systems.

Requirements:

• Experience leading a team.
• Experience being the person who sets the proper example to all employees on your team.
• Experience with assembly related work.
• Experience with following diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or data center experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory systems and material handling equipment is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge (ESD) protocols preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and cross-train in multiple departments.

Shifts & Pay:

• Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM: $22.00/hr
• Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM: $24.00/hr
• Monday–Thursday | 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM: $24.50/hr
• Thursday–Sunday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM: $24.00/hr
• Thursday–Sunday | 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM: $26.50/hr

Working Conditions:

• In-person role within a data center/warehouse environment
• Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift
