The organization offers a strong work-life balance, competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to make a significant impact while practicing in one of New York City’s most dynamic communities.Title: Psychiatrist Location: Manhattan, NY Salary+ benefits: $230,000 to $250,000 Competitive salary based on experience + comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and other employee benefits.Responsibilities of Psychiatrist: Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for adult patients. Develop and manage individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s clinical needs. Provide ongoing medication management and monitor patient response to treatment. Collaborate with therapists, social workers, nurses, primary care providers, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team. Provide appropriate crisis assessment and intervention when clinically indicated. Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation in the electronic medical record. Coordinate care with internal providers and outside healthcare professionals as needed. Participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary treatment planning. Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and recovery. Support a patient-centered, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed approach to behavioral healthcare.Requirements of Psychiatrist: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. New York State medical license or eligibility for New York State licensure. DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one. Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary community health setting.
