Part-Time Housekeeper

Part-Time Housekeeper - Ambler, PA

A warm and organized family in Ambler, PA is seeking a reliable and proactive Housekeeper to maintain their home and occasionally assist with their children.

Schedule:

Tuesdays: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Thursdays: 8:00 AM - 5:00/7:00 PM

Compensation: $30-$32/hour

Benefits: 1-week paid time off + major holidays off

Responsibilities:

Perform full housekeeping duties including regular and deep cleaning, laundry, organizing, and maintaining overall household order
Identify tasks that need attention and take initiative to complete them without direction
Let dogs in and out as needed and ensure they are safe and comfortable
Provide gentle, kind care for two children (ages 6 and 8) when they are not in school or if they are sent home
Handle occasional snacks and simple food preparation for the children
(Optional) Additional hours available for those interested in assisting with cooking

Household Details:

Two dogs, including a large dog. Must be comfortable with large dogs.

Ideal Candidate:

Kind, calm, and gentle, especially when caring for children
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Self-motivated and proactive - able to notice what needs to be done and take care of it without being asked
Comfortable working alone and managing all tasks to be done efficiently
