Serves as a referral center for trauma, stroke, neonatal intensive care, and pediatric needs. Home to a leading robotic surgery program and advanced cardiac care. The inpatient unit has a capacity of 20 beds with a mixed level of care. Patient ratios are 1:5 or 1:6 depending on the level of care. Focus on short stay patients with quick turnover. Equipped for telemetry monitoring with each patient hardwired to bedside monitors. Utilizes an electronic medical record system. Ideal candidate should possess a positive attitude and be focused on patient experience. Looking for compassionate team players who work well with others. Every other weekend commitment is required. Travelers may need to float to other units as necessary. Dress code requires navy and white scrubs.
