During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites. dbt Labs is experiencing extraordinary growth across all market segments, and we're looking for a dynamic Regional Vice President of Sales, South Central to help lead the charge. In this pivotal role, you’ll shape strategy, grow a high-performing team, and drive revenue. This role is ideal for a hands-on sales leader with a passion for data, a strong technical background, and a track record in enterprise sales at early-stage startups. You’ll be responsible for hiring, coaching, and managing a team of Sales Directors who oversee the entire customer journey—from Discovery and Evaluation to Implementation, Adoption, and ongoing success with dbt. What You'll Do Report directly to the VP of Sales and lead a team of 6–8 exceptional Sales Directors focused on driving growth in a fast-moving market. Cultivate a collaborative, high-performance culture where your team can excel, innovate, and grow. Establish and refine onboarding and ramp-up processes to ensure new team members are set up for success. Help shape and continuously improve our Enterprise sales playbook. Foster alignment and partnership with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Marketing, Solutions Architecture, and Professional Services. Define and execute strategic plans for some of our largest and most complex accounts. What You’ll Need Has 6+ years of experience selling a technical product, with a proven track record of success. Brings 3+ years of experience leading high-performing software sales teams. Is comfortable with complex technical concepts and excels at breaking them down for others. Has a strong background in recruiting, developing, and retaining top sales talent. Leads with humility, inspires through action, and thrives in coaching and mentoring others. Feels a strong sense of alignment with our core company values and mission. What Will Make You Stand Out Managed remote teams with demonstrated success Prior experience in analytics, data, and/or open-sourced software Experience going through a growth or hyper-growth stage This position qualifies for Fivetran’s incentive plan, and it’s common for employees in this role to achieve the total on-target earnings.

The compensation range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire compensation for the target position and level, and may include sales incentives or target bonuses depending on the role. Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Our job titles may span more than one career level. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, business need, market demands. $180,025—$225,031 USD

OTE (On Target Earning)

$360,050—$450,062 USD
