Turtle is seeking a Buyer   to primarily support our Fort Washington, PA location.

About the Role

The Buyer will be responsible for expediting open purchase orders, managing information related to open orders, as well as, problem solving, managing returns, invoice management, purchasing goods within their assigned vendors, and deliver best in class customer service.

What You'll Do

• Source and place purchase orders 
• Manage information within the ERP system concerning back-orders, expected ship dates, etc.
• Proactively communicate with the sales team as it pertains to their open orders and back-order dates.
• Assist buyers with assigned current projects.
• Procure assigned items as required
• Support inventory management process

Who We Are Looking For

• High School Diploma required
• MS Office (including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Communication skills (verbal & written)
• Ability to be a self starter, organize and prioritize work
• Prior experience in distribution preferred especially electrical purchasing a plus
• Understanding procurement in a distribution environment a plus
• Must possess a willingness to learn.
