This role will be responsible for developing demand forecasts, analyzing customer trends, and supporting effective production and inventory planning. The Demand Planner will partner with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to improve forecast accuracy, optimize inventory levels, and support business objectives.Job Responsibilities:Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, customer demand patterns, and business insightsAnalyze sales performance, inventory levels, and supply chain constraints to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement actionsCollaborate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to support demand planning and S&OP processesMonitor forecast accuracy, inventory performance, service levels, and key demand planning metricsIdentify demand fluctuations and provide recommendations to improve forecast reliability and supply chain performancePartner with Production Planning and Procurement teams to align demand forecasts with manufacturing and inventory strategiesSupport new product introductions by incorporating demand forecasts into planning activitiesUtilize demand planning systems, reporting tools, and data analytics to improve planning accuracy and efficiencyPrepare reports, dashboards, and business analysis related to demand trends, forecast performance, and planning activitiesSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand planning processes and overall supply chain performanceJob Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field required1+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics within a manufacturing environment preferredExperience within consumer products, paper, packaging, or related manufacturing industries preferredStrong understanding of demand forecasting, inventory management, S&OP, and supply chain planning processesExperience working with ERP, MRP, or demand planning systems; SAP experience preferredStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide business recommendationsAdvanced Excel skills required; experience with Power BI or other reporting tools preferredStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departmentsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environmentWhy join Sofidel: Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Medical, dental, and vision insurance options to support employee well-being 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matchPaid time off and company paid holidaysEmployee referral programProfessional training, development, and opportunities for career growthStable employment with a growing global organizationCollaborative and safety-focused work environmentOpportunity to contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellenceEqual Opportunity Employer:Sofidel America is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
