Expectations also include assisting the radiologist during invasive procedures. Breast, Vascular, Neurosonography, MSK, Pediatrics, Fetal Echo, Nuchaltranslucency or the Neonatal specialty is required for sonographer 2 status. Makes a clinical judgment of the patient's condition, based on information obtained from the referring physician, medical records, patient interview and personal assessments. Coursework/Training: Successful completion of Ultrasound training program --- Education sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination National Registered Technologist - Sonography --or-- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography 2 years or experience as a sonographer Why Join Providence Swedish?
