Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Machinist in Eau Claire, MI!
Summary Operate machine shop equipment to produce and repair parts while supporting production equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Run machines such as lathes, mills, drill presses, and grinders
- Fabricate and repair parts for production equipment, dies, jigs, and fixtures
- Read blueprints and perform basic shop math
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery (presses, tube mills, etc.)
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure quality
- Assemble components and subassemblies
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Pay rate is $20 - $22 an hour with a $1 an hour incentive pay for perfect attendance (Weekly). Schedule is 1st shift, 6 am - 2 pm, M - F, some Saturdays as needed.
Qualifications
- Machine shop or machining experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
