Position Overview:
The Lead Teacher will be responsible for leading and guiding a classroom of children, fostering a love for learning, and providing high-quality care. You will collaborate with a team of educators and staff to create engaging, age-appropriate activities, promote social and emotional development, and ensure the safety and well-being of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage exploration, creativity, and learning.

• Supervise and engage children in daily activities, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being.

• Foster positive relationships with children and provide guidance in social, emotional, and cognitive development.

• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress, behavior, and development.

• Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.

• Monitor and maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.

• Follow all daycare policies, procedures, and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a daycare or early childhood education setting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred but not required).

• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage and engage with children of various age groups.

• Passion for working with children and helping them grow and thrive.
