A local East Bay client is looking to hire an experienced Part-Time HR & Payroll Coordinator to support our Human Resources department in a healthcare environment. This role will provide administrative support across payroll, benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and employee record management. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hands-on ADP payroll experience and previous HR experience within a healthcare setting.
This position offers a flexible start time and will begin at approximately four hours per day, with the potential to increase to six hours per day based on business needs.
Schedule
•Tuesday and Wednesday
•4-6 hours per day
•Up to 18 hours per week
•Flexible start time between approximately 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM
Essential Responsibilities
Payroll & HR Administration
•Process and support payroll activities using ADP.
•Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
•Upload and manage employee documents within ADP.
•Assist with payroll-related inquiries and administrative tasks.
Benefits Administration
•Coordinate benefits enrollment and employee benefit changes.
•Maintain benefits files and supporting documentation.
•Assist employees with benefit-related paperwork and information.
Recruiting & Onboarding
•Post job openings on recruiting platforms.
•Conduct initial applicant screening and candidate outreach.
•Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
•Prepare onboarding paperwork and assist with new hire orientation.
Compliance & Record Management
•Maintain confidential employee files and HR records.
•Support compliance-related filing and documentation.
•Manage county-related accounts and reporting requirements.
•Ensure HR records are accurate, organized, and up to date.
Additional Support
•Provide administrative support to the HR Manager.
•Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
•Minimum of 2 years of ADP payroll experience.
•Prior HR experience within a healthcare environment.
•Experience with employee onboarding and benefits administration.
•Strong administrative and organizational skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
•Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
•Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Preferred
•Experience supporting compliance and regulatory HR requirements.
•Knowledge of employment documentation and personnel file management.
•Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting processes.
