Job Summary
Our client, a busy and growing manufacturing shop, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated accounting professional who can step into a fast-paced environment, work independently, and help keep financial operations running smoothly. The company is looking for someone who can quickly adapt, stay organized, and take ownership of day-to-day A/R and A/P responsibilities. An outside accounting firm manages payroll and higher-level accounting functions, but this role will be critical to supporting daily financial operations. Responsibilities
Process accounts payable invoices accurately and timely
Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and collections
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Assist with month-end reporting and administrative accounting tasks
Work within JobBOSS software to manage accounting activities
Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal staff regarding account issues
Support the team in maintaining organized financial processes Qualifications
Previous experience in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable required
Experience with JobBOSS software preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
