Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must have a valid license in hand prior to the start date Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications Minimum of 2 years of experience Description: This position includes night shifts with a 3x12 schedule. Holiday coverage and every other weekend are required. Candidates will be required to rotate in various areas including Emergency Department, Adult ICU, Adult Med Surg unit, Adult Progressive Care Unit, Labor & Delivery, and NICU. The emergency department is a full-service community-based facility, so candidates will assist with some pediatric care when applicable. Every other weekend (Saturday, Sunday) is required. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays, as determined by the leadership team. Candidates must possess skills in adult critical care and assist in high-risk deliveries. Experience assisting with high-risk neonates and various respiratory care procedures is essential. The role entails floating between different units depending on staffing needs. The best fit would be travelers with experience in adult care and labor and delivery. Candidates must have the ability to troubleshoot equipment and manage various respiratory conditions. Floating to meet facility needs is 100% required for all travelers. A COVID-19 vaccine is not required, but a flu vaccine is mandatory with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons. Two supervisor references are required.
