\nAt Sound Physicians, our purpose is to provide better care, better collaboration, and a meaningful impact on the communities we serve. We are seeking a physician leader to serve as a Co-Medical Director for our hospital medicine program at Clovis Community Medical Center. This is an opportunity to practice clinically while leading a high-performing team.
\nLocal Team Collaboration:
\n- \n
- Partner with the Co-Medical Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for a team of 30 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers. \n
- Collaborate with hospital executives, physician leaders, and service line partners to advance organizational goals and initiatives. \n
- Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the hospital medicine program. \n
- Drive efforts focused on quality improvement, patient experience, operational excellence, and physician engagement. \n
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture among physicians, APPs, and interdisciplinary team members. \n
- Support the recruitment, retention, development, and engagement of hospital medicine providers. \n
- Champion best practices, clinical excellence, and continuous program improvement. \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. \n
- Prior hospital medicine leadership experience required. \n
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, build relationships, and drive quality outcomes. \n
- Must live within the Community \n
- H1B visa sponsorship available with dedicated in-house visa, licensing, and credentialing support. \n
Scheduling:
\n- \n
- Collaborating with your Co-Medical Director, you will work between 5 and 8 clinical shifts per month, with a minimum commitment of 5 shifts. \n
- Administrative time is spent at the hospital Monday-Friday. \n
- This is a Full-Time Position. \n
Key Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Partner with the Co-Medical Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital medicine program. \n
- Work alongside hospital executives and service line leaders to drive organizational initiatives and achieve hospital goals. \n
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, professional development, and clinical excellence. \n
- Lead performance improvement efforts focused on length of stay, readmissions, patient safety, quality metrics, and regulatory compliance. \n
- Represent the hospital medicine program on committees and interdisciplinary leadership teams. \n
- Maintain an active clinical role caring for hospitalized patients. \n
- Closed ICU environment. \n
- Procedures are not required. \n
- Utilize Epic EMR. \n
