Job Description
Inside Sales Engineer Must Haves: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering-candidates without will not be considered. New grads are welcome to apply. Location: Elk Grove Village IL - Occasional trade shows and sales meetings (must have reliable transportation and clean driving record)Salary: $75,000-$82,500 + 10% bonus (Hourly, Non-Exempt) Location: Fully onsite Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years of inside sales, technical sales, account management, or customer-facing technical support experience
- Strong relationship-building and account development skills
- Experience working with customers via phone, email, virtual meetings, and CRM systems
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain product applications
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- BSEE or BSME preferred
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- Identify new sales opportunities within current and emerging accounts
- Develop distributor relationships
- Generate leads through inside sales activities and promotions
- Respond to web leads, RFQs, sizing requests, and customer inquiries
- Recommend products based on customer application requirements
- Provide pricing, delivery, RMA, and customer service support
- Deliver technical troubleshooting and product support
- Maintain CRM records and sales activity documentation
- Prepare monthly sales reports
- Gather and share market intelligence
- Attend trade shows, customer events, and training programs
