About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days EOW Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Floating requirement to PCU for a MSU assignment unless telemetry trained. Description: The position requires a maximum ratio of 1:6. During day shifts from Monday to Friday, the ratio is 1:5. The candidate is expected to be the first to float. The role includes the possibility of up to 2 extra mandatory shifts per 6 weeks. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Holiday requests are limited to a maximum of one holiday off during the contract period. The care setting is acute, within a trauma level 3 environment. The unit has a total of 23 beds. The charting system used is EPIC.
