Candidates may qualify as Level I, Level II, or Senior Technician depending on verified experience.Universal Truck Service was founded on the belief that great service and quality are not a thing of the past.A Day in the LifeAs a Tanker Mechanic / Technician at Universal Truck Service, you will work on a wide range of tanker trailer systems in a specialized facility built for this work. Your day may include diagnosing ABS and disc brake issues, repairing lift axles, servicing internal valves and pneumatic systems, or conducting electrical repairs and wiring work. The Tanker Technician role at Universal Truck Service is technical, varied, and built for someone who takes pride in getting it right.What You'll DoDiagnose and repair ABS and disc brake systemsPerform suspension repair and replacement - spring and air rideRepair and replace lift axlesMaintain pneumatic and hydraulic vent systemsService internal valves including Top Hat, Quick Clean, Disc, Air, and MechanicalRepair API heads and QRB valvesConduct electrical repairs and wiringTroubleshoot and replace overfill systemsRepair piping systems, jacket wraps, and headsScheduleFull-time.
