Sales Support Specialist

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Account Support Specialist in the Tarrytown / Irvington, NY area. This is a hybrid role in office 2 days and 3 remote days. The support specialist will work with the sales team and national and key accounts. 60K – 70K Base + Bonus + Benefits Package Job Responsibilities: Account Management & Strategic Partnership Build and maintain strong relationships with account buying and planning teams to support long‑term business growth. Partner closely with national and key accounts to manage annual budgets, forecast demand, and achieve defined sales targets. Support national and key account managers in monitoring account‑level P&L performance and evaluating progress against annual financial objectives. Oversee new customer onboarding and product setup to ensure accurate, timely, and seamless activation. Prepare and deliver weekly POS (Point‑of‑Sale) reporting and performance analysis for accounts. Compile monthly sales recaps leveraging POS trends, order flow, and account performance metrics. Maintain detailed shipping reports and collaborate with managers to identify fulfillment gaps, replenishment needs, and sales opportunities. Conduct competitive product analyses and present insights to inform strategic decision‑making. Operational Coordination & Administrative Support Work closely with the Finance team to manage and resolve sales‑related chargeback claims. Support account managers in preparing for key meetings, including data gathering, presentation development, sample coordination, and administrative tasks. Provide ongoing administrative support for national and key accounts to ensure efficient daily operations. Coordinate promotional events, seasonal programs, and new product launches across responsible accounts. Assist in all phases of the sell‑cycle, collaborating closely with national and key account managers to ensure timely execution and follow‑through Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years’ experience in a sales support role Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; additional language skills a plus Familiarity with budgeting and financial tracking Demonstrated administrative and analytical capabilities with strong attention to detail High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Familiarity with consumer products / department stores Ability to travel occasional to NYC office as needed Local candidates only.
