Staff Accountant

The Personnel Consulting Group, on behalf of our client, is seeking a detail-oriented, autonomous Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations across a growing multi-entity portfolio of hospitality, restaurant, and commercial real estate assets. This position will report to a tenured CFO. Operating in a high-transaction environment, this execution-focused role is critical to maintaining accurate financials, clean monthly closes, and disciplined transactional integrity. Key Responsibilities Financial Close & Reporting: Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities; reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant accounts; prepare supporting schedules and workpapers. Accounting Operations: Manage AP, AR, payroll coordination, and cash disbursements; ensure accurate revenue recognition and maintain monthly rolling debt schedules. Systems & Process Improvement: Act as the day-to-day power user for accounting software Restaurant365 and POS/PMS systems; streamline workflows for integrations and entity roll-ups. Compliance & Operations: Support sales, occupancy, and payroll tax compliance; coordinate annual insurance audits and lender reporting; collaborate with on-site managers to troubleshoot system issues. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience: 1-3 years of accounting experience; prior experience in a multi-entity or high-volume environment is strongly preferred. Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations) and a strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls. Preferred Background: Experience with Restaurant365 and the hospitality, restaurant, or real estate sectors. #J-18808-Ljbffr
