Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology - Full Time Days

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team committed to providing individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care. They practice in a clinical setting guided by evidence-based standards, professional models, and organizational policies, ensuring compliance with nursing licensure and ethical standards. Key Responsibilities Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based practice. Delivering relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural needs. Partnering with patients and families through effective communication and education, focusing care goals on patient preferences. Coordinating safe, quality care documentation and fostering respectful, inclusive teamwork. Supporting performance improvement, research, and shared governance initiatives. Serving as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional growth and workforce development. Promoting evidence-based practice, participating in research, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Planning across care continuum, developing protocols, and optimizing resource use. Qualifications & Skills Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred). Valid RN license (single or multi-state compact). BLS certification required upon hire. Less than 1 year of clinical experience preferred, with completion of accredited nursing program.
