Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor

Position Overview Rutgers‑Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) seeks a faculty member for its Pulmonary Medicine division and Cystic Fibrosis Center. The role combines clinical care, teaching, and research, with responsibilities in both ambulatory and inpatient services. Candidates will provide bronchoscopies and other pulmonary procedures, develop a strong teaching base for medical students, residents, and fellows, and engage in research projects with available start‑up grant funding for qualified applicants. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive ambulatory and inpatient pulmonary care, including bronchoscopies.
• Develop and maintain clinical and teaching programs for medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in and lead research projects; secure and manage grant funding.
• Present at departmental and institutional meetings; contribute to scholarly activities.
• Serve on committees and collaborate across the UTCC, sleep disorders program, and translational science initiatives.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD/DO) from an accredited program.
• Formal specialty training in Pediatric Pulmonology.
• Board certified in Pediatrics and board eligible in Pulmonary Medicine or board certified in Pediatric Pulmonology.
• Board certification in Sleep Medicine is an asset.
