Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Apply critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in daily clinical decision-making.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and communication with patients and families; maintain accurate and complete documentation.
