Board Certified/Board Eligible Multi-Organ Abdominal Transplant SurgeonThe AdventHealth Transplant Institute in Orlando, Florida, is recruiting a Board Certified/Board Eligible, ASTS fellowship-trained Multi-Organ Abdominal Transplant Surgeon to join its established and expanding transplant program. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of post-fellowship clinical experience, strong technical proficiency in multi-organ transplantation, and a commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration and programmatic growth.Qualifications:MD or DO degreeBoard Certified/Board Eligible in General SurgeryCompletion of an ASTS-accredited Abdominal Transplant Surgery FellowshipEligibility for Florida medical licensureClinical Responsibilities:The successful candidate will participate in:Adult kidney, liver, and pancreas transplantationDeceased donor procurement and organ recoveryMachine perfusion and organ preservation managementInpatient and outpatient pre- and post-transplant patient careParticipation in quality, regulatory, and program development initiativesAdditional expertise in the following areas is desirable but not required:Living donor kidney and/or liver procurement and donor managementMinimally invasive or robotic surgical techniquesPediatric transplant experienceClinical research and academic collaborationProgram Overview:The AdventHealth Transplant Institute currently performs annually:100+ adult and pediatric liver transplants150+ adult and pediatric kidney transplants15+ pancreas transplantsThe surgical team includes five transplant surgeons supported by a fully integrated multidisciplinary team of transplant nephrologists, hepatologists, intensivists, oncologists, pathologists, and advanced practice providers.
