Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Strongpoint Rehabilitation, you will work directly with patients in their own homes, which allows for personalized treatment tailored to their specific environments. This role requires a balance of clinical expertise and interpersonal skills to connect with patients on a personal level. The work schedule consists of Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, fostering a work-life balance while allowing for ample time to focus on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations, creating tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.

• Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and maintain flexibility to adjust plans as the patient's condition evolves or improves.

• Engage with multi-disciplinary teams, consulting with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for each patient.

• Document patient care activities meticulously, including evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge planning, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure clarity and compliance.

• Maintain open communication with patients, families, and third-party payors, ensuring transparency and empowerment throughout the rehabilitation process.

• Onboard and mentor junior staff as needed, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.

• Participate in regular clinical meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and industry developments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary population you will serve includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our approach emphasizes patient-centered care, ensuring that treatment plans are not only clinically effective but also resonate with the patient's personal goals and lifestyle. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.

• Active physical therapy license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

• Certification in CPR is mandatory.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with patients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in physical therapy, specifically within an outpatient or home care setting.

• Experience in developing and implementing rehabilitation programs for orthopedic conditions is highly valued.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation best practices.

Compensation and Benefits
