Wet Utility Estimator

We are currently looking for a Senior Underground Wet Utility Estimator/Project Manager for an immediate position at our office in El Cajon, CA. Qualifications and Responsibilities HCSS Estimating Program experience preferred but not necessary Knowledge in heavy equipment sizes, shoring techniques, productions/crew sizing for various conditions, ability to understand soils reports. Strong internal and external communication skills. Represent the company well when dealing with clients. Project Manage the project such as job visits, client relations, change orders, RFIs, letters, meeting minutes, and associated Project Management tasks. Experience with large multi‑million dollar projects in the Private and Public sector. Knowledge of various local agency specifications. Dry Utility estimating experience a plus, but not mandatory. Structural Concrete estimating experience a plus, but not mandatory. Local knowledge for who to call when you need a vendor, supplier, or subcontractor. Existing relationships with private owners and agencies preferred. Ability to create & update schedules in Microsoft Project. Work well with others. Proficient computer skills in Blue Beam, Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong work ethic and self-starter. Schedule is M‑F in office. This is a salary position with competitive wages based on experience. Proficient Wet Utility Estimator with 3‑7 years experience – $85,000–$140,000/year. Highly skilled Senior Wet Utility Estimator with 8+ years experience – $140,000–$180,000/year.
