Recruiting Assistant

We are seeking a detail oriented and highly organized Recruiting Assistant to support our talent acquisition team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a smooth and compliant hiring process and providing administrative support to recruiters. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and delivering a positive candidate experience. Bi-Lingual Spanish preferred, not required Responsibilities Process and complete employment eligibility verification (I-9s) in compliance with federal regulations Manage and submit E-Verify cases accurately and in a timely manner Process background checks and pre-employment screenings Schedule candidate interviews and assist with coordination between candidates and recruiters Provide ongoing administrative support to the recruiting team Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in internal systems Support additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in administrative support roles Knowledge of I-9 compliance and E-Verify processes preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information Excellent organizational and time management skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred Customer service mindset with a focus on candidate experience Location: North Kansas City, MO EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabilities #J-18808-Ljbffr Express Employment Professionals
