CT Technologist

Shift Information

Shifts are 10 hours with varied scheduling.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.

Certifications and Licensure

• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Job Description

Applicants must initiate the process for obtaining an active State of Hawaii license upon acceptance of the offer. The selected candidate must possess a valid Hawaii license by the start of the assignment.

There will be no requests for time off (RTO) granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract.

Proof of flu vaccination or an approved application for a medical or religious exception is required prior to the contract start date. Flu vaccination may be administered during the employee health clearance appointment.

General Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of two years' experience working in an acute hospital environment. Responsibilities include:

• Performing routine CT scans according to radiologist protocols.
• Functioning independently without supervision.
• Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation is preferred.
• Skills in venipuncture and advanced imaging techniques, such as MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging, are advantageous.
• Experience with procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, as well as trauma or stroke imaging is a plus.
