Several caseload options are open, including:

• Elementary caseloads distributed over three school buildings serving approximately 50 students
• An additional elementary opportunity within a single building, managing a caseload of 47 students
• A specialized position within a Functional Classroom for Intensive Support (FCIS), offering targeted interventions

Ideal candidates excel at quickly forming relationships with students and staff, navigating blended caseloads, and adapting to different school environments.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• State of Michigan licensure for SLPs (or ability to obtain)
• Prior experience supporting school-aged children in elementary settings
• Strong organizational skills and efficient time management
• Effective communicator with interdisciplinary teams, students, and families

Key responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and deliver direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
• Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and IEP documentation
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to support student outcomes in both general and special education settings
• Participate in meetings related to student progress and program development
• Provide parent education and resources as needed
