Store Manager – Luxury Kitchen & Bath Showroom Location: Palo Alto, CA | On-Site Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $90,000–$100,000 Base Salary + Commission Benefits: Full Benefits + Profit Sharing + 401(k) Position Overview Our client, a high-end kitchen and bath showroom, is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead its Palo Alto location. This is a hands‑on leadership and sales role responsible for store operations, team performance, customer experience, and profitability. The Store Manager will spend significant time on the sales floor while developing the team, building customer relationships, and ensuring the showroom delivers a luxury‑level experience. The ideal candidate combines retail leadership, professional sales experience, and knowledge of kitchen and bath products with an entrepreneurial, results‑driven mindset. What You’ll Do Lead daily showroom operations while creating a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture. Coach, develop, motivate, and manage team members to achieve individual and store performance goals. Own store financial performance and drive sales, profitability, and operational efficiency. Analyze performance data and implement strategies to increase revenue and maximize ROI and profit sharing. Spend 60%+ of your time on the sales floor, actively selling and demonstrating effective sales techniques. Build lasting customer relationships that generate repeat business and referrals. Ensure customers receive an exceptional experience throughout the sales and design process. Coordinate employee training and partner with manufacturers and vendors on product education. Manage inventory processes and maintain accurate store and customer information. Oversee the showroom’s online presence across Google, Yelp, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms. Use digital and social channels to support customer outreach, advertising, and showroom events. Plan and host customer and industry events while monitoring attendance, engagement, and ROI. What We’re Looking For 3+ years of retail management or leadership experience. Previous experience within high‑end or luxury retail. Proven professional sales experience with the ability to lead by example on the sales floor. Strong understanding of store operations, financial performance, and profitability. Excellent leadership, coaching, and team‑development skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Highly organized with strong planning, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Entrepreneurial and self‑directed with a strong sense of accountability. Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company requirements. Preferred Qualifications Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen and bath products. Kitchen, bath, interior design, home improvement, or related showroom experience. Undergraduate, trade school, or design school education; equivalent professional experience will also be considered. Experience with inventory management systems. Familiarity with Eclipse, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms. Experience managing store‑level social media, digital marketing, or customer events.
