Telecommunciations Installer Level III (Journeyman Electrician)

Job Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and infrastructure in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. Perform system inspections and technical assessments to diagnose electrical issues and implement effective corrective solutions. Install and service industrial equipment, including DC power systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation. Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and work orders to complete installations and repairs accurately and efficiently. Communicate directly with customers to assess needs, provide technical recommendations, and ensure high levels of service satisfaction. Work independently with minimal supervision while managing priorities, schedules, and project requirements. Select, install, and maintain electrical components such as wiring, receptacles, panelboards, switchgear, and switchboards. Supervise and coordinate internal teams and subcontractors performing installation or maintenance activities. Maintain required tools, equipment, and standard replacement parts to support efficient field operations. Monitor material usage and inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies for ongoing work. Accurately document labor hours, materials, and project activities for reporting and cost tracking purposes. Ensure compliance with all company policies as well as federal, state, and local safety regulations. Mentor and support apprentices and junior team members, promoting continuous learning and skill development. Serve as the company’s qualifying representative for electrical contractor licenses across multiple states. Travel 60% of the time, as required. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Completion of a relevant apprenticeship. Valid state license permitting practice as a journeyman electrician. Four years of experience as an electrician. Ability and willingness to maintain a valid driver’s license. Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time with overnight stays. Ability and willingness to obtain Electrical Contractor Qualifier Licenses or reciprocity in multiple states as required for OmniOn Power. Physical Requirements Ability to lift at least 40 lbs. Using a lifting technique to maneuver, install or remove 80–750 lb. batteries. Frequently pushing or pulling cables up to 60 lbs. Frequently climbing ladders up to 8 ft. Frequently working/standing on ladders for extended periods. Continuous standing. Frequently reaching above, below or at shoulder level. Frequently bending, twisting or stooping. Frequently crouching or squatting.
