Medical Surgical Oncology - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: - Fire safety required. - RNs only: Clinicians who obtained their RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold a MO, IL, or Compact license require an extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

Special Requests: - No medical marijuana cards accepted. - You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details: - Adult medical, surgical, and oncology patient population. - Includes two comfort care suites for end-of-life patients. - Ratios: days 5:1, nights 5-6:1, weekends 5:1.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend required; for night shift, weekend rotation can be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday depending on the existing rotation. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - Will float within scope to meet facility needs at times.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
