Overview
Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Oncology (Nights) travel assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri, United States. Start date: 07/13/2026. Duration: weeks. Weekly pay: $2,062–$2,208 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting: acute-care hospital with a 28-bed Medical-Oncology unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult medical-surgical oncology patients during night shifts
- Administer chemotherapy per protocol, monitor for adverse effects, and manage ports and IV therapy
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition; respond to rapid responses and codes as needed
- Implement isolation precautions and PPE use; maintain infection control standards
- Manage PCA, administer medications, assist with discharge planning, and document in EPIC
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with the charge nurse and unit secretary; float within scope as needed

Requirements
- Active RN license in Missouri (or eligible for travel assignment as applicable per policy)
- Minimum 2 years RN experience; first-timers accepted; oncology/medical-surgical experience preferred
- Required certifications: BCLS, NIHSS, Fire Safety; ACLS may be required only for certain locations
- Oncology/medical-surgical nursing skills including chemotherapy administration, port access, IV start/maintenance, telemetry, and isolation protocols; EPIC charting experience
- Floating within scope; on-call not required; weekend and shift commitments as described; pre-start requirements met (labs within 48–72 hours; orientation 38 hours)
- Flu vaccination required (exemptions for medical or religious reasons allowed)
