Start date: 07/13/2026 | Duration: 3–4 weeks per compliance tier with biweekly start dates
Weekly pay: $2,107–$2,235 | Guaranteed hours: 36 hours (for 3x12 shifts)
Shift: Nights, 3x12 | Work setting: acute care unit with telemetry, neuro/ortho and med-surg patient care
This travel assignment is in a general adult care setting with telemetry monitoring and neuro/ortho coverage.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on Neuro/Ortho/Med-Surg telemetry units, with emphasis on stroke and post-surgical joint care
- Monitor telemetry equipment, interpret alarms, and respond promptly to changes in patient status
- Administer medications, initiate and manage IV therapy, and assist with PICC line management as needed
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and update care plans, document in the electronic charting system, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
- Implement isolation precautions and PPE protocols; educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
- Support patient safety initiatives, perform accurate bedside procedures, and participate in unit rounding and handoffs

Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing; pending licenses accepted for submittal; some states may require license in hand at submittal—confirm per state
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required; ACLS may be required for certain locations
- Experience: 2+ years of relevant RN experience preferred; first-time travel RNs accepted
- Skills: Telemetry monitoring; neuro/stroke and ortho (total joint) care; IV starts and PICC line management; infection prevention and isolation precautions
- Mobility: Able to work nights on a 3x12 schedule; able to float to units excluding ICU, SDU, and ED
- Education: Nursing degree from an accredited program (typical requirement; not explicitly stated in notes)
