We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Bright Munchkins Learning Center in Hillside, NJ. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with young children and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. Experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification and knowledge of New Jersey licensing requirements are a plus. Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and creative activities
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Assist with meals, nap time, potty training, and daily routines
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding children’s daily progress
- Follow all center policies, procedures, and licensing regulations
- Work collaboratively with staff and administration
- Encourage positive behavior and model respectful interactions
- Assist with classroom setup, sanitizing toys/materials, and general classroom maintenance
