Job Summary The Commercial Relationship Sales & Service Manager Senior (CML RSS Sr.) is the primary point of contact for assigned Commercial customers and Relationship Managers. The CML RSS Sr. works independently and in partnership with Relationship Managers to provide a best‑in‑class experience for a diverse Commercial portfolio, applying advanced knowledge of customer and product onboarding to enhance relationship management, retention, and deepening sales. The CML RSS Sr. provides leadership, guidance, and day‑to‑day management over activities performed by other service colleagues or partners. Responsibilities First‑line decision maker who mitigates issues and questions raised to management, keeping the Deal Team abreast of material changes and risk. Identify, research, analyze, and resolve complex problems while ensuring adherence to bank policies and procedures. Manage complex, highly visible, large, or sensitive customers and services, offering products such as Escrow Services, Deposit Account Control Agreements, FBOs, Controlled Disbursement, Credit Sweeps, Public Funds, etc. Oversee onboarding, commercial deposit, and loan accounts, handling sizeable relationships, approving multi‑million dollar transactions, and managing special requirements for the assigned portfolio. Represent Huntington’s Commercial brand by providing a Category of One experience for customers with professional, discreet, and positive communications and forward‑thinking solutions. Attend customer meetings independently or with the Deal Team and participate in deal team and business segment meetings to stay informed of customer strategies and business priorities. Provide day‑to‑day guidance for other service colleagues and partners, managing the most complex customers with high volume of accounts. Serve as a key resource to establish workflows for solving issues or implementing new processes, and provide operational and risk management support within the Commercial Segment. Actively participate in projects and bank initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED with 5+ years of commercial banking experience focused on deposits, loans, treasury management, customer service, or banking operations. Preferred Qualifications Confidence, assertiveness, and professionalism with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other digital resources. Excellence in customer service, initiative‑taking, focus, and goal orientation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanor. Strong ability to facilitate and negotiate. Ability to mentor, coach, and train peers and less experienced colleagues. Strong organizational skills with diligence, planning, and follow‑up.
