Commercial Lending Specialist
Location: New York City, NY. Onsite
Pay Rate: $40–$52/hour (Based on Experience)
Temp-to-hire

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lending Specialist to support the business and commercial banking lending team through the entire loan lifecycle—from approval to closing and servicing. This is a fast-paced opportunity for someone with strong lending experience who thrives in a detail-oriented banking environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage loan files from approval through closing and servicing.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers, attorneys, and internal departments to ensure timely loan closings.
• Review loan documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Process loan funding, payments, draws, payoffs, and servicing requests.
• Track loan pipelines and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Resolve issues that arise before closing and ensure all documentation is complete.

Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of experience as a Lending Assistant, Loan Processor, or similar commercial lending role.
• Experience with Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and/or Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loan documentation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and banking systems (nCino experience is a plus).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment.
