Traveling Physical Therapist Opportunity

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active California Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is required.
• Ability to perform evaluations, develop and implement rehabilitation programs, and produce documentation using an electronic medical record (EMR).
• Experience supervising PTA and aide staff preferred.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain and update PT skills and certifications as necessary. (Preferred: specialty certifications or continuing education in outpatient orthopedics.)

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient.
• Shift Details: Days.
• Schedule Pattern: 4x10 (as noted in client job details).
• Start: Assignment begins in April with a 13-week duration.
• Clinical Duties: Evaluate and treat patients, utilize EMR for evaluations and documentation, supervise PT Assistants and aides, communicate with physicians regarding patient care.
