MB Attorney Search is conducting a search on behalf of a confidential client for a Real Estate Associate to join its Real Estate and Land Use practice in either Milwaukee or Madison , Wisconsin.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who wants broad exposure to a variety of sophisticated real estate matters and is interested in developing a well-rounded commercial real estate practice. The successful candidate will work with a diverse range of clients and collaborate closely with experienced attorneys in a supportive environment that places a strong emphasis on training, mentorship, and professional development .

Key Responsibilities

The associate will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including:

• Commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions .
• Real estate financing transactions.
• Commercial leasing matters of various types.
• Zoning and land use matters.
• Real estate asset management.
• Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, and other real estate agreements.
• Conducting and managing real estate due diligence.
• Researching and analyzing real estate and land use issues.
• Working directly with clients and other professionals on transaction-related matters.
• Collaborating with attorneys across the firm's national real estate practice.
• Developing increasing responsibility and expertise across multiple areas of real estate law.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 3 years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions.
• Experience with one or more areas of commercial real estate, such as acquisitions and dispositions, financing, leasing, zoning, land use, or asset management.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to learn.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for developing a broad real estate practice.
• The ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively.
