Echocardiography Technologist

JOB SUMMARY Provide diagnostic ultrasound imaging of the heart to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic echocardiograms, including TEE, stress echo, and complete TTE with Lumason contrast, 3D, and Strain. Scan inpatient, ICU, and outpatient populations. Support the organ recovery center (ORC) and Shepherds Spine Center. Perform structural echocardiograms for procedures such as TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, and ASD closures. Scan patients with devices including LVAD, Impella, and ECMO. Enter preliminary reports in collaboration with cardiologists. Adhere to established protocols and procedures. Schedule / Shift Weekends and holidays as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer. Experience in a high-volume structural echo lab. Experience performing TEE, stress echo, and complete TTE. Experience with Lumason contrast, 3D, and Strain imaging. Experience scanning inpatient, ICU, and outpatient patients. Experience with structural echocardiograms (TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, ASD closures). Experience scanning patients with cardiac assist devices (LVAD, Impella, ECMO). Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent certification. Experience 5 years of direct experience in echocardiography. Experience in a high-volume structural echo lab is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Skills Proficient in performing TEE, stress echo, and complete TTE. Skilled in utilizing Lumason contrast, 3D, and Strain imaging modalities. Competent in scanning diverse patient populations including inpatients, ICU patients, and outpatients. Experienced in assessing structural heart conditions and assisting with procedures. Ability to work collaboratively with cardiologists. Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. EMR / Systems Experience with cardiac ultrasound equipment and associated reporting software. Patient Population Inpatients, ICU patients, and outpatients with various cardiac conditions. Unit / Specialty High volume structural echo lab. Cardiovascular.
