Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including conducting physical assessments and in-depth reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical issues through analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical plans for patients
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing the operating room, ensuring patient positioning, and efficiently passing instruments during surgery
• Offer exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus

Certification Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
