Mammography Technologist
Massachusetts Hospital Association
Role Performs advanced invasive and non-invasive mammography procedures, including screening and diagnostic imaging, using ionizing radiation in compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities Execute specialized mammography techniques, ensure quality and safety, and support overall patient care in diagnostic imaging. Qualifications Requires an Associate Degree or completion of a two-year technical program in Radiologic Technology, Washington Radiologic Technologist certification, and certification in mammography within one year. Must have BLS and ARRT registration, with additional training in breast ultrasound and screening mammography experience. Skills Technical proficiency in mammography, attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Key Duties Perform mammography procedures, maintain equipment, ensure patient safety and comfort, and comply with all regulatory and organizational standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
