Job Opportunity – OB Hospitalist – Ohio

Start Date: August 2025

Location: Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: In-house labor and delivery coverage including 24-hour shifts and weekend rotation. Coverage needed for August 7 (8am-5pm) and August 9 (8am) through August 10 (8am).

Highlights:

• Level III nursery at a Level 1 trauma center with 10 labor and delivery beds
• Teaching facility with OB residents available to first assist
• High-acuity practice: 80% high-risk pregnancies, 20% low-risk, 10% GYN procedures
• Approximately 25% C-section rate with full range of operative obstetric and gynecologic procedures
• EPIC electronic medical records system
• Onsite lab, ultrasound, and dedicated support staff including residents and nursing team

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active Ohio medical license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Self-query NPDB pulled within 30 days of presentation
• Proficiency in full scope of obstetric procedures including low and high-risk deliveries, low forceps, C-sections, breech deliveries, VBACs, repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations, and OB ultrasound interpretation
• Experience with gynecologic procedures including laparoscopy, open surgical procedures, and office-based procedures
