Shipping Operator

Job Title: Shipping Operator Entry-level position responsible for shipping and receiving in the lens manufacturing process. Responsibilities Deliver and pick up orders from eye care facilities, obtaining signatures and payments. Record information such as items received, delivered, and recipient responses. Receive materials and delivery instructions via telephone, radio, or in person. Load vehicles ensuring correct loading of goods. Participate in meetings to improve departmental communication and efficiency. Perform additional tasks as needed and cross‑train on new duties. May train peers. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Clean DMV record. 0–2 years related experience. Reliable, honest, dependable and able to follow written or verbal directions. Customer service mindset. Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 10 pounds; perform repetitive movements. Strong attention to detail and observational skills. Good verbal and written communication; English reading and number recognition. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multitasking production environment. Flexible schedule; willing to work overtime when needed. Attention to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment. Work Environment Full‑time position with potential overtime. Must be able to drive and operate a company vehicle using a safety belt at all times. Uses standard office equipment such as computer and calculator. Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay range: $16.00 – $20.00. Eligibility for performance bonus.
