Dishwasher/Prep Cook
SAGE Dining Services is seeking a Dishwasher/Food Prep Cook for several beautiful private schools in the New Orleans, LA area. Rates and hours will vary depending on location and position!
Our team focuses on a positive work environment and fantastic food. Our communities range from Pre-K to 12th grade. We provide fun and familiar food with a culinary-forward menu. Our team is most successful when staffed with dependable, motivated, positive team members.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Summers off!
Pay Type:
$17.00 - $18.00 Hourly
Time Commitment:
Part Time

What you'll do:
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
- Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile!
- Dispose of waste and maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled utensils, dishes and pots.
- Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.
- Set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize equipment in the kitchen.
What you'll need:
- Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean.
- Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.
- Prior commercial dishwashing experience preferred, however, we can teach any motivated individual.
- Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
