Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer in Dallas, TX:Job Details:Provide specialized technical input for studies and the design of bridges and other roadrelated infrastructureGather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined proceduresWork on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple to complex testsDevelop, evaluate, and implement design procedures to support highquality, costeffective workParticipate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverablesPrepare construction cost estimates and estimates of technical effort for projectsPerform qualitycontrol reviews of design calculations and drawingsPrepare technical specifications and contribute to the development of engineering budgets and schedules to meet projectspecific requirementsTelecommuting permitted from anywhere within the USQualificationsCandidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field of study and 5 years of experience as a Bridge Design Engineer, Site Engineer, or in a related occupation.Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field of study and 3 years of experience as a Bridge Design Engineer, Site Engineer, or in a related occupation.Position requires experience in the following:Pre-stressed concrete bridge designSteel and concrete segmental and arch bridge designStay cable bridge designErection engineeringFinite element software, including SOFiSTiK and MidasAutodesk, AutoCAD, and RevitAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
