Laboratory Technician

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Duration: 4 Months
Location: Milwaukee, WI 53225
Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (12-Hour Shift | 4 Days On / 4 Days Off)

Responsibilities:

Perform routine laboratory testing to support food safety, quality, and operations.
Conduct product testing and analyze laboratory results.
Monitor, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on lab equipment.
Troubleshoot basic laboratory instrumentation issues.
Document test results and maintain laboratory records.
Maintain customer specification books and quality documentation.
Perform inspections on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
Assist with laboratory trials and experiments.
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Communicate test results with internal teams.
Prepare routine reports and maintain accurate documentation.

Required Qualifications:

Experience in laboratory testing, preferably in food manufacturing or a similar environment.
Knowledge of laboratory instruments, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
Ability to perform analytical testing and accurately document results.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret safety procedures and operating instructions.
Comfortable working independently while escalating complex issues when needed.

Work Environment:

Food manufacturing environment.
Exposure to temperatures up to 110°F and dusty conditions.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Must be able to climb and crawl as required.
