The LPN/LVN provides professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit, clinic or region.
The LPN/LVN assesses patient health problems and needs, takes vital signs, administers medication, develops and implements nursing care plans, and maintains medical records. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction.
This role is working Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm EST.

Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted licensure as an LPN or LVN
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as an LPN or LVN or Nationally Certified Medical Assistant
- Excellent customer service
- Strong clinical background
- Strong sense of engagement to be a team player
- Experience in a fast pace/high volume environment
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English and Spanish with the ability to read/write/speak in both languages
- Hands-on professional
- Phlebotomy experience
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records, preferably Athena
- Experience with HEDIS
- Knowledge of primary care medicine requirements in Florida
- Working knowledge of clinical operations
Additional Information
Tuberculosis (TB) screening : This role is considered member facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
