Overview Perform accurate assessments for patients with cardiovascular disease including exercise prescriptions, EKG telemetry interpretations, patient education and safe exercise floor supervision. Responsibilities Assess patients' fitness and health Design exercise programs to meet patient goals by increasing their cardiovascular fitness Maintain daily quality control for all Cardiac Rehab equipment Prepare medical necessity reports Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science / Physiology required. Masters Degree preferred. BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required and ultimate complete of ACLS certification ACSM Certification a plus Prior experience in a similar role, new graduates will be considered Excellent communication skills.
